Cosign is a browser extension and web application that helps you save and share products from retail websites with friends. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Your email address when you create an account
- Product information you choose to save (name, brand, price, image URL, color, size, and page URL)
- Your votes and comments on saved items
What the browser extension does
When you click the Cosign extension on a product page, it reads publicly visible product information from that page (name, brand, price, image, color, and size). It does not read any page unless you click the extension. It does not track your browsing history, collect personal data from websites, or run in the background.
How we use your data
- To display your saved products in the Cosign app
- To let your friends view and vote on items you share
- To send you early access or product updates (if you joined the waitlist)
What we don't do
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising
- We do not track your browsing activity
- We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides authentication, database, and hosting infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Deleting your data
You can delete any saved item at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@getcosign.app.
